This Factory Original Proportional Purge Solenoid Valve Is The Emission Valve That Continually Pumps Clean Air Electronically Through The Vapor Purge Harness Which Allows The Leak Detection Pump To Sense Any Fuel Vapors That May Be Coming From The Gas Tank Or Engine That Can Be Harmful Or Cause Problems With HC Levels For Emissions.

This Will Cause An Engine Light To Come On When This Proportional Purge Solenoid Stops Working But May Not If Does Not Work Properly.

If It Starts To Cause Louder & Louder Clicking Noises At Idle -This May Be An Indication That It Is Starting To Work Harder Than Before & Is Staring To Get Weaker & Not Work Properly.
