This OE A/C Expansion Valve Helps Regulate How Much Refrigerant Is Allowed To Pass Through The A/C Evaporator After It Is Being Pump From The Compressor & As It Closes Up Stops The Flow Down & When It Opens Allows More Refrigerant To Enter & Let The Evaporator Get Cooler To Help The Inside Of Your Jeep Get Cold.

These Expansion Valves Can Either Leak Causing A Foul Odor Inside Your Vents & Losing All Your Refrigerant Or Get Stuck Open Or Closed Causing Either NO Refrigerant To Pass Making Your A/C Warm Or Always Open Making The A/C Luke Warm To Cool But Never Cold.
