This Is A Factory Original Front Shock Retainer Washer.

Each Jeep Requires One On Each Front Shock & This Kit Will Give Your A Pair.

This Original Front Shock Retainer Washer Is The Washer That Is On The Top Of The Shock.

There Is Another Washer On The Lower Portion Of Each Shock But This Particular One Is Much Thicker & Has A Conical Shape To It.

The Washers Are 3/8" Thick Steel And Need To Be This Thick In Order To Support The Shocks.

If You Feel That When Purchasing A New Shock That The One Included In The Box Seems To Be Very Thin, Maybe These Will Help.

Most Of The Aftermarket Replacement Shocks Had Retainers That Were Only 3/16"-1/4" Thick Which Is Half As Thick To 33% Thinner.

Check Your Retainers And If They Are Rusted Apart Or The New Shocks You Purchased Have Really This Retainers, Go Ahead And Purchase These.
